The library is part of any Bridge Compass database. A project has patterns for the various seats. A library function is a pattern set that has a name. If you choose it those patterns are copied into your project and added to those that are already in that seat. Having a good library saves lots of work and improves the quality of your conclusions. The Dutch Bridge federation maintains a library that is shared under the members of the various selection groups. For this there are two functions.
The export function has a timestamp (YYMMDD) in the name and it exports from the connected database.
You have to select the library first before you can import it. Like projects the functions are imported in the connected database, and it has the option to rename duplicates. After that you can clean up your library with the delete functionality.
