On the option screen you can set your backup schema for the Bridge Compass database.
If you don't want to have automatic backups or you want to make a backup of the database that you are currently connected to, you can manually backup a database through the menu. The default settings are one backup a week that gets overwritten all the times (rotate = 1).
With a backup comes a restore. You choose the backup database with the file picker. As you see, you can't alter the destination. It is always a restore to the default Bridge Compass database. This will overwrite your existing database! There is a little safety. Just before the restore is executed an extra backup of the Compass.db3 is made and stored in the database-folder. That name is compassDB_before_restore.db3.
